Review: Boreal Bamba

Style:

The Bamba is a stylish and comfortable all terrain shoe with a little more urban characteristics.

They come in multiple colour patterns to suit everyone’s personal taste. I personally went for the bright yellow, orange, and blue colour way to satisfy my love for flashy footwear. With a high quality leather upper it is quite obvious they are made to last. They feature a high a minimal treads with the Boreal logo, which offers great traction on trails and rocks while being durable enough for city streets. There is also a high rand for extra protection in rocky terrain.

Sole:

Boreal used their Street rubber outsole with an integrated toecap rand. The Bamba’s have ample support and stability thanks to the shock absorbing EVA, and TPU midsole.

Best Use:

The Bamba is the type of shoe that is equally qualified to take you to the pub or out for a day of light hiking or cragging. For most

Bottom Line:

My Bambas have proven to be a very comfortable shoe that required little to no break in time. They are made to a very high quality at the Boreal factory in Spain.

It’s refreshing to know a shoe like this still being made in a first world country where the employees are being paid a fair wage. For some, myself included this is a selling feature.

I'd definitely recommend the Boreal Bamba for anyone looking for a multi-purpose shoe they can take out for light hikes, or climbing, as well to casual nights out.
