Bruce Peninsula Backpacking

This whole pandemic has created a bit of chaos in the outdoor world. Places I could usually go to get away from people are now packed. Campsites I could book a week in advance are now booked for the entire summer. I was lucky to get a permit for a single night at High Dump.

The trip was a lot of fun though! Orion had his first backpacking adventure, and absolutely crushed it! I was a bit afraid he’d be alert all night, but he just passed out next to me in the tent.

The Bruce was magical as always, and once again I was able to snag some pretty great images. Take a look.

Jules taking a well needed break on our hike back out.

Kaylie drying out with the dogs after a late night swim.

Gulls flying over the beautiful Georgian Bay during a lovely sunset.

Dancing with Orion while waiting for the comet to make its appearance.

Boing!

Comet Neowise in all it’s glory!
